A Neighbourhood That Feels Just Right
Tucked away but never isolated, Brewers Bay offers the kind of calm that’s hard to find—and even harder to leave.
Brewers Bay is one of those rare neighbourhoods that feels tucked away yet perfectly connected. Known for its calm, unhurried atmosphere, it offers a sense of privacy and peace that’s increasingly hard to find — without sacrificing convenience.
Despite its quiet nature, Brewers Bay remains exceptionally well located. It sits just minutes from Road Town on the east side and has easy access to Cane Garden Bay on the west side, placing residents close to schools, daycares, and everyday essentials.
My family and I have lived in Brewers for the last 7 years, and before that, prior to Irma, we lived just above Brewers Bay in Anderson Point for many years.
The bay itself is north-facing, opening out to spectacular sunsets and sweeping sea views across to Jost Van Dyke, with cooling trade winds. Brewers is also spoiled because we have a boat ramp. Residents can easily access the boat ramp, making it ideal for boating, paddleboarding, or kayak fishing.
The beach is beautiful, with occasional swells and dotted with lovely snorkelling spots.
A National Park trail to the bat caves and other open green spaces, making it a truly special neighbourhood. One of my personal favourites is the local pineapple farm. Shalom, who takes care of the farm, is a very special farmer with ambitions of bringing beekeeping to his farm.
A small but growing selection of restaurants and local spots nearby adds to the neighbourhood’s understated appeal — never crowded, always authentic.
Brewers Bay isn’t flashy. It doesn’t try to be. That’s exactly why people who live here tend to stay.
